General policy
NewsBolts, operated by Zacro Infotech Private Limited, offers subscriptions, passes, NTR Credits, additional seats, add-ons, and usage-based purchases on a prepaid basis. These purchases are generally non-refundable after successful payment, except for the limited exceptions stated below or where a refund is required by applicable law, a payment network, a regulator, or a binding enterprise agreement.
Monthly subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable after payment. Cancelling prevents the next renewal and does not refund the current billing period. Access ordinarily continues until the end of the paid term. Unused monthly quotas have no cash value.
Annual subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are charged upfront. Cancelling prevents the next annual renewal and does not automatically refund the current annual term. Usage allowances continue to reset monthly according to the plan. Unused months or quotas have no cash value unless applicable law or a separate enterprise contract requires otherwise.
NTR Credits
Purchased NTR Credits are generally non-refundable and remain valid for the published validity period. Successful generation consumes the applicable credits. A new requested regeneration may consume additional credits. When NewsBolts verifies a technical generation failure, the affected reserved credits should be restored rather than automatically creating a cash refund.
One-Day and Weekly Passes
Passes are time-limited and non-renewing. Their validity begins when successfully activated and unused access expires at the end of the stated period. Passes are generally non-refundable after activation except where the stated limited exceptions or applicable law apply.
Additional seats and add-ons
Additional seats and add-ons are generally non-refundable once provisioned. Removing a seat or add-on prevents future renewal where applicable; it does not create a prorated refund for unused time in the current paid period.
Limited exceptions
NewsBolts may review a refund or billing remedy for a duplicate payment, incorrect NewsBolts billing, successful payment where the purchased entitlement was never provisioned, inability to provide the purchased service with no reasonable replacement, a verified unauthorized payment, an enterprise contractual remedy, or a refund required by applicable law, court, regulator, or payment network.
Technical failure remedy
- Article generation failure: restore the affected article quota.
- Image generation failure: restore the affected image quota.
- NTR generation failure: restore the affected NTR Credits.
- Publishing failure: do not consume another generation quota solely because delivery failed.
- Pass activation failure: restore access or review an appropriate refund if access cannot reasonably be provided.
- Duplicate payment: refund the verified duplicate charge.
- Subscription activation failure: restore service or review an appropriate refund if service cannot reasonably be provided.
Cancellation
Cancellation stops future renewal. It does not automatically refund the current paid term. Customers should retain the cancellation confirmation and may continue to use the service through the remaining paid period unless access is suspended for another lawful reason.
Billing and refund requests
Refund or billing-error requests should include the account email, workspace, invoice or transaction reference, purchase date, and a concise description of the issue. Billing contact: complaint@newsbolts.com. NewsBolts may request reasonable information to verify the transaction and prevent fraud.
